The Convention will kick off on Tuesday, January 6th, at 9am Mountain Time and wrap up on Thursday, January 8th, at noon. 

Frontier Precision will be holding their sessions on Monday.

HOTEL

A room block is reserved at The Lodge in Deadwood. You can make your room reservations at any time by calling 605.584.4800 and asking for the SD Land Surveyors room block.

Reservations should be made by Friday, December 5th, 2025.

If you need state rate rooms, please coordinate with others in your group and provide Nancy a list of who needs rooms, when the rooms are needed, and how they will be paid. If the form of payment will be direct bill, Nancy will also need the name and contact person responsible for the direct bill account.

The West River Chapter is hard at work planning the 43rd Annual Convention. If you have ideas for presenters, topics, events, activities, or just ideas to make the convention better than ever -- please reach out to Nancy via call/text at 605.951.1004 or email at DirectorSDSPLS@hotmail.com. The Planning Committee also encourages you to start putting together your Scholarship Auction Items. We're looking for some exciting new additions this year, so maybe team up in your office and put together a hunting/fishing package or a weekend get-a-way or another great idea that can help us raise money for the scholarship fund. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
